Notes: A light-weight, sandblasted Rhodesian with a pearlescent, dark-wine colored Lucite bit. This was actually a clean piece of briar save for a single medium-sized surface flaw above the turned groove at about 5 o'clock which is still noticable on inspection in spite of the blast. While the photos do suggest the depth of the sandblast, they fail to do justice to the detail, which features some nice rippled rings across the front of the bowl. The stain has a slight purplish cast to it as well, which matches the stem material nicely. The stem is mostly dark material with lighter-colored highlights symmetrically laid out along both sides. A classic, smoker-friendly pipe, I think, with a slightly different look to it nonetheless.
